About Me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor with experience in a variety of settings including eating disorder outpatient and intensive outpatient (IOP) treatment, college counseling, nonprofits, community mental health and sexual assault recovery. When I'm not in session, I serve as the Program Director for the Kirsten Haglund Foundation's Virtual Transitional Living Program for eating disorders.

I received my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. and my Bachelor of Arts in the Psychology Honors Program at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

I have extensive training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing via the EMDR Institute. I integrate a variety of therapeutic strategies to help you reach your goals including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mindful Self-Compassion. As a Certified Yoga Teacher, I focus on the mind-body connection.

As an eating disorder specialist, I proudly operate from a Health at Every Size, anti-diet lens.
